Carmel Wood oil

Carmel was painted from life sittings when the artist was moving from Montana to the East Coast. It was her way of taking her friends with her. Carmel now owns the painting, which is one of Suzy's favorite works. It is done in the manner of Rembrandt, with a strong chiaroscuro and focus on inner mood and expression.
